We arrived home this morning about 3:00am. Had two units of blood and a 1 1/2 hour delay between them because of a reaction to the first bag which caused a fever. We had parked our car in the Mays garage because that is where we were scheduled to have the catheter taken out after pump disconnection. When we went to get the blood, they sent us to the main building and we thought we would be out by 10:00pm. We had to go to the UT Police Department to retrieve our Jeep. Wow things are never dull around the Medical City. Michael's counts continued to drop today even after the blood. We will have more blood work done tomorrow to see where we stand. He is pretty down due to Ronnie's death and counts being down. Keep him in your prayers. Gonna get some sleep while we can.

michael,
ReplyDeleteRonnie lived by example...his race is run...but he fought with everything he had and so should you...God knows when it is time to call you home..it was Ronnie's time...it isn't yours yet and we both believe that God has a purpose for your fight and a plan for your future...I know this is the toughest thing you have ever in your young life come up against...I am so proud of how you have handled all of this and I understand the being down and out and thinking you can't go on...but rely on our heavenly father to see you through those trying days and nights...You are living proof of a miracle in progress so hang on and hang in there and remember that you have a new big guardian angel up there...Ronnie believed in the fight and he believed in YOU....This too shall pass...none of it is a walk in the park but when we saw you a couple of weeks ago you made my heart sing...you are awesome and my hero....keep the faith babe!!!
